About this Event

Big Beat Playground is a family friendly, dance music festival with a warm, welcoming and safe environment for children, young people and their families.

This grass roots community was started by a group of friends and family members who believe that the festival experience should be enjoyed by everyone. That’s why we insist on keeping our tickets prices low and distribute as many complimentary tickets to low-income families as possible.

Our festivals are designed to be inclusive, joyful and unforgettable, providing a space for you to relax, socialise, play, create, dance and party.

What to expect….

A Soft Play area for the very small, a Creative Space for little ones and a Tropical Hangout for the bigger boys and girls. You can connect with nature in the Bamboo Forest, find relaxation and calm in the Wellbeing Hideaway; and the Main Stage area is for everyone to let their hair down, dance, jump, wiggle, boogie and have some proper family fun!!

Alternating DJs will be playing Uplifting House and Club Classics and Reggae, Calypso and Carnival!!

Put your dancing shoes on, bring your biggest smiles and get ready for lots of fun, action and excitement!!
