When amateur comedy isn’t doing the job, it’s time to call The Professionals. A line-up of Toronto’s most acclaimed comics come together to leave you in stitches! Located at the legendary Free Times Café, the performance space is perfect for an intimate show.

TICKETS: $20 online, $25 at the door.

Please arrive no later than 7:45 PM to be seated for showtime.

Allie Pearse (@alliepearse):

Allie Pearse is a standup comedian and writer on the award-winning TV shows Letterkenny and Shoresy. In early 2024 she toured North America in over 40 cities as part of the ‘Letterkenny Presents: A night of Standup Comedy’. She has opened for Meg Stalter, Hannah Berner, Giggly Squad, Kurtis Connor, Matteo Lane and Rafi Bastos. In 2023, she performed at Just For Laughs on the Russell Peters gala, in 2022 she was a ‘New Faces’ performer at the Just For Laughs festival and is the winner of JFL’s 2021 Standup & Pitch competition. She has also been nominated for a Canadian Screen Award (2024) for her performance on Roast Battle Canada. Allie has performed for tapings at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, JFL’s New Wave of Comedy, CBC’s The Debaters and CBC’s LOL network. She has performed at the Sled Island Comedy Festival, Hubcap Comedy Festival, Icebreakers Comedy Festival and Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Allie has been featured on SiriusXM radio, has recorded for JFL Originals and OFF-JFL and was a co-headlining act at the 2022 Just For Laughs in Toronto.

Jason Allen: (@jasonacomedy):

Jason Allen is one of the top touring headliners in Canada. He has worked with such acts as Tom Segura, Brian Poeshn, Jeremy Hotz, and Kevin Pollak. Jason’s comedy has also been featured on Just For Laughs, The Cottage Country Comedy Festival, The Brantford Comedy Festival, The Edmonton Comedy Festival, and Sirius XM. With his honest and rapid-fire approach to comedy, Jason’s jokes will leave you laughing days after the show has finished.

Hershawn Arora (@rapsandlaughs):

Hershawn Arora is one of Toronto’s brightest young comics. His high-energy style, cerebral crowd work, and vulnerable material set him apart from his peers. In 2023, Hershawn was named an International Roast Battle™ All-Star and made his Just For Laughs Toronto debut by recording with Just For Laughs Originals. With a loyal online following that is rising in numbers, he has sold out his last eleven independently produced shows. A fan-favourite at nearly all Toronto comedy clubs and a regular at the world-famous Your Hood’s a Joke, Hershawn has been recognized as one of the most promising acts in the city and has no intention of slowing down.
