Rahul Sipligunj, born on August 22, 1989, is an Indian playback singer and songwriter who gained prominence through his independent music on YouTube. He made his debut at the age of 20 with the song “College Bulloda” in the movie Josh in 2009. Sipligunj quickly became a popular figure in Tollywood with hits like “Vaastu Bagunde” from Dammu and “Singareni Undi” from Racha. His versatile singing style is evident in songs such as the Spanish-infused “Melikalu” from Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, the title track of Prema Katha Chitram, “You Are My Darlingo” from Jakkana, “O Alekhya O Alekhya” from Doosukeltha, and “Peddha Puli” from Chal Mohan Ranga.

One of his most notable performances is the widely acclaimed “Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana” from the movie Rangasthalam. He also delivered another major hit with the song “Bonalu” from iSmart Shankar.

Rahul Sipligunj is particularly recognized for his collaboration with M.M. Keeravani on the soundtrack of the 2022 film RRR. Alongside Kaala Bhairava, he performed the Oscar-winning song “Naatu Naatu” at the 95th Academy Awards in March 2023, earning a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Male Playback Singer – Telugu for the same song.
