Mahishasura Mardini - The Colossal Mahalaya

In celebration of over 61 glorious years of Durga Puja in the United Kingdom, the London Durgotsav Committee will present the dance drama “Mahishashura Mardini,” an ancient tale depicting the triumph of good over evil. The performance will feature recitations of hymns from the “Devi Mahatmyam” or “Chandi Kavya,” alongside Bengali devotional songs and dances.

This exceptional dance drama will not only include recitations but also showcase performances of Bengali devotional and classical music.

Dr. Ananda Gupta, the renowned Rabindrasangeet vocalist from London, will enchant audiences with a musical evening alongside his ensemble, Dakshinayan UK, the cultural arm of the London Durgotsav Committee.

Dona Ganguly, the distinguished Indian classical dancer, will present her ballet troupe in an unprecedented choreographic spectacle.

• Tickets are non-refundable – Once confirmed, ticket sales are final. No refunds, exchanges or cancellations are available.
• If an event is canceled/postponed, we will refund only the face value of the ticket and NOT the booking fee.
• Event Producers & the Venue staff reserve the right to ask any guest to leave or remove them from the venue for any reason we see as inappropriate and for a successful running of our event.
• We operate a zero-tolerance policy on harassment. Anti-Social Behavior is unacceptable at our event.
• Adhere to all the rules of the venue.
• In an event of misconduct by patron’s, Event Producers reserves the right to eviction.
• We recommend that you arrive at-least 30 minutes prior at the venue for a seamless entry.
• These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time at the discretion of the Producers.
• Ticket price can be up and down without any prior notice.
