Amit’s observational humor is both refreshing and contemporary, resonating strongly with audiences across India. He has made a mark with his highly relatable storytelling style, enabling him to connect instantly with viewers. His viral videos have surpassed an impressive 100 million views across social media platforms.

As one of the first three Indian comedians on Netflix, Amit took the stage by storm in January 2019 with the hit series “Comedians of the World,” featuring a select group of 47 comedians from around the globe.

His comedy has crossed international boundaries, with over 200 shows in 25 countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Dubai, and Singapore. To date, Amit has performed an astounding 1,400 shows. He has also achieved new heights with the launch of Grandmasters of Comedy, a unique platform aimed at introducing comedy to the corporate world.

Amit played a significant role in bringing “Fight Comic,” a popular comedy face-off show from Singapore, to India.

With an MBA and engineering background, Amit initially ran his own HR consulting firm and began his comedy journey as a hobby. His career took off after appearing on NDTV’s “Rising Stars of Comedy” and later on “CEO’s Got Talent” on CNBC TV18. He also hosted the “New Year Show” on Doordarshan in 2014 and explored radio by hosting a Punjabi show called Saanu Kee for over a year.
