Esha Gupta is a known name in the Indian film and modelling industry. Delhi born Esha Gupta is the daughter of a retired air force officer father and a homemaker mother. She was studying Mass Communication while she decided to try her luck at the Femina Miss India in the year 2007. Gupta won the title of Miss Photogenic at the Femina Miss India contest and was crowned the 2nd runners up. She represented India in the Miss International contest as well.
Gupta rose to fame with her Kingfisher Calendar shoot in 2010. Although Esha won herself a law scholarship for the Newcastle University in England, she decided to pursue her career in Bollywood instead.
She made her debut with Vikram Bhatt’s Jannat 2 opposite actor Emraan Hashmi in 2012. The film was a hit and Esha managed to captivate audiences with her sophisticated charm. Since then, Esha has starred in Bollywood flicks as Raaz 3D, Chakravyuh and Humshakals. Esha is a trained Kathak and Jazz dancer and loves performing on fast numbers.
Being a car lover, Esha also hosted NAT Geo’s Super Cars on the National Geographic Channel in 2012. She has always been admired for her good looks and featured twice in Times India’s 50 most desirable women poll. She was ranked 13th in 2012 and 8th in 2013.
