Harbhajan Mann is a popular name in the world of Punjabi music. Mann has been known for his unique singing style and quality Punjabi music. He began quite early when he started singing for the South Asian community while in school in Canada. His first professional break came with Chittiye Nee Chittiye in 1992. Detailed understanding of the Punjabi language and Mann’s versatile voice quality has helped him strike the right cord with audience worldwide and gives him an edge over his competitors of the cluttered Punjabi Pop world. Later Harbhajan Mann tried his hands in the world of cinema. His debut movie Jee Aayan Nu made him a household name in Punjab. Jee Ayan Nu is also special because it set a new benchmark for the gradually dying Punjabi movie industry at that time. Since then there has been no looking back for Mann. Mann has acted in seven movies which include Asa Nu Maan Wanta Da, Mera Pind, Mitti Wajan Mardi, Dil Apna Punjabi, Heer Ranjha, Hanni and Gaddar. Simple and natural, Mann’s acting skills have been praised by masses and critics both.
