Kannamangalam Sreekumar Harisankar  is an acclaimed Indian playback singer, primarily known for his work in South Indian cinema. He is well-recognized among Malayali audiences for his hit songs such as “Jeevamshamayi” from Theevandi, “Pavizha Mazhaye” from Athiran, “Kamini” from Anugraheethan Antony, as well as “Nee Himamazha,” “Vaanam Chaayum,” “Aalolam,” and many more. In addition to his film work, Harisankar is also a prominent figure in Indian independent music with his band, Pragathi. Formed in 2018, this five-member group includes Harisankar, Abishek Amanath, Abhijith Sudhi, Precious Peter, and Abin Sagar. He also lent his voice to the Malayalam version of “Naatu Naatu,” the Oscar and Golden Globe-winning song from the film ‘RRR’.

Harisankar began his playback singing career at the young age of five, making his debut alongside the legendary K. J. Yesudas. With a strong foundation in classical music, he has performed at prestigious venues such as the Madras Music Academy, Shanmukhananda Sabha, Narada Gana Sabha, and Chembai Sangeetholsavam.
