    About Artist

    Priya Malik is an award winning spoken word poet, storyteller and actor. She writes and performs in English, Hindi and Urdu. Her work mainly revolves around love and relationships and her popularity is a testimony to her unique yet relatable perspectives. Her work has been featured on some of India’s biggest spoken word platforms such as Kommune, UnErase Poetry, Spill Poetry and Tape A Tale. She’s also been invited to perform at prestigious festivals such as Jashn E Rekhta, Sahitya Aaj Tak , Times Literature Festival and also to international festivals such as Colomboscope.

    She’s been featured in national and international magazines such as Grazia, Femina, Cosmopolitan and was also the cover star for Cosmopolitan India. She’s written for a number of brands including Google, Amazon, Hotstar and Sony, to name a few. She’s the famous poet who took us back to the 90s with her viral poem “Main 2019 main 1999 dhoond rahi hoon”. Her solo show “Ishq hai “ has toured multiple cities across India and is a unique amalgamation of music and poetry.

    She’s currently birthing two collections of love poems in Hindi and English titled “Ishq ke Saat Padaav” and “For those who love too much” Both books are slated for release later this year.

    Yahya Bootwala, an Indian actor, writer, and poet, gained popularity with his 2017 poem “Shayad Wo Pyaar Nahi,” which became widely acclaimed on social media. He later starred in “Sheher Ya Tum,” which won the Best Short Film award at the 2018 MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

    He has toured with his storytelling set “Alfaaz Ka Safar”, “Fankaar” and “Dialoguebaaz” all over India and is now ready to make his debut in Australia.

    • We operate a zero-tolerance policy on harassment. Anti-Social Behavior is unacceptable at our event.
    • Adhere to all the rules of the venue.
    • In an event of misconduct by patron’s, Event Producers reserves the right to eviction.
    • We recommend that you arrive at-least 30 minutes prior at the venue for a seamless entry.
    • These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time at the discretion of the Producers.
    • Ticket price can go up and down without any prior notice.
